PLEASE NOTE
The ceremony begins at 7, but if you’d like to join for a BYO picnic at 6, please join me!
THIS ENTIRE EVENT WILL BE HOSTED OUTDOORS. In the event of rain, we will reschedule, so please check in with Jessica if the weather looks iffy at jessica@bethelightshamanism.com.
I’m excited to co-create this event with Pastor Bryan Sirchio of the McFarland United Church of Christ!
Bryan and I will seamlessly weave our spiritual views and practices into this unique & unifying ceremony.
I had the honor & privilege of offering a shamanic practice with the congregation at McFarland UCC last summer during their quarterly One Love service, and it was an extraordinary experience with a welcoming & loving group of people that is the congregation. (Read more about that event HERE).
Many people have been intrigued and curious as to how a Christian pastor and a Shamanic Practitioner have come together to share space in spiritual offerings... Great question! And thanks for asking it.
We decided it would be fun to shed a little light on this, hence the video. Bryan also shared the general viewpoint of the United Church of Christ (super interesting!), as well as some important realities regarding how Christianity has historically interacted with shamanic, Pagan & pre-Christian practices.
We also talk about the event, of course! We hope to see you there.
