Labyrinth Walk + Full Moon Ritual: A Shamanic Fire Ceremony

  • Be The Light Shamanic Healing Madison, Wisconsin 53704 United States of America (map)

What is the purpose of a shamanic fire ceremony?

The fire is a cleansing, transformational and powerful ally. When we work with intention, fire helps us to change and shift our lives in the ways we desire. Fire ceremonies have remained a core practice amongst many shamanic cultures for tens of thousands of years.

How can a full moon ritual or ceremony benefit me?

The full moon is a powerful ally in helping us manifest change.

This full moon ceremony is about letting go of the things that no longer serve us- outdated thoughts, emotions, patterns, relationships, and perhaps even a career or job that no longer serves you. This can include internal and external shifts.

Typically, manifesting new things, emotions, patterns, relationships, careers, jobs, etc is more aligned with the new moon, when we are planting our seeds of intention. I encourage you to harness the power of the moon for whatever feels right for you. You can hear more about following your intuition with this full moon ceremony in the video linked below.

How should I prepare for this ceremony?

1) If you’ve not attended one of my fire ceremonies before or you need a refresher, its important that you watch or listen to this video to make sure you’re prepared before you arrive. Since many participants have attended several of my fires, I no longer do the intro at the actual ceremony. Feel free to increase the playback speed on the video!

2) You may wish to do some journaling or reflecting about your intention(s) prior to arriving.

What will the ceremony be like?

This ceremony is a shamanic ceremony is inspired by that practiced by the Q’ero people of Peru, and has been handed down to me as part of my training in this lineage.

We’ll connect with the power of the fire by singing a beautiful, yet simple chant while rattling or drumming. Remember that everyone is focused on doing their personal work, and no one is listening to you sing- so don’t be shy or deterred!

Location & Accessibility

The ceremony will be held in a peaceful, wooded & private setting near Cherokee Marsh in Madison, WI.

You‘ll receive the exact address upon registration. If for some reason you don’t receive the email with the ceremony address upon registering, contact me HERE.

The walk from the driveway to the fire ring is short, level, and mowed grass.

A restroom will be accessible, and will require you to use a set of stairs. Please get in touch ASAP if you are concerned about accessibility issues so I can do my best to accommodate you.

If It Looks Like Rain

Since I’ve found the rain forecast to be extremely unreliable, I will text you 3-4 hours prior to the ceremony if it looks like we could get rained out. If the weather looks fine, you will not receive a text from me. In the event of cancellation due to rain, you will receive a full refund. Please set a reminder for yourself to check your texts a few hours before the event.

I’ve only gotten rained on 3 times in the last 70+ ceremonies I’ve held, so chances are very low that we’ll have to cancel due to rain.

Do You Offer Refunds?

Due to the intimate size of this circle, I cannot offer refunds unless the event is canceled due to rain, in which case you will receive a full refund.

You CAN, however, transfer your registration to a friend in the event that you can’t make it after all. In that case, please send me their full name, phone number & email address ASAP.

IMPORTANT

To respect the sacred container of this work, please refrain from alcohol & recreational drugs the day of the event, and ideally for 24 hours prior, and 24 hours after as well.
