A family altar is an intentional space. It is a powerful, uniting, loving place where the dreams, hopes, prayers, and intentions of each family member weave together, fostering deeper connection, support, and momentum for shared values and visions. It is a place where one or more family members can come whenever they are seeking peace, inspiration, support or clarity. It’s a place to intentionally connect with each other, yourself, or your spiritual allies, should you choose.
Altar building is a fun, creative, sacred and intuitive practice. Meagan and Jessica will share a bit about the purpose and use of altars before guiding your family though the process of co-creation.
You’ll be guided through the process of:
Sharing your personal wishes and needs for a family altar
Sharing the meaning behind the special altar items you’ve brought (you’ll receive instructions for choosing your items)
Finding common threads to unite and strengthen your family bond
Bring a new level of momentum to your family’s goals and dreams
Charging the energy of your altar through a short guided journey
You’ll learn how to:
Honor your altar, yourself, each other, and your spirit allies at your altar
Connect with your altar at home, both as a family, and individually
Know when its time change the altar, and how to do this harmoniously as a family
Carry the energy of your altar into your daily lives
Once we complete the practice, we’ll move into celebration with a potluck to munch, connect, and play. The structured part of the event will be about 1.5 hours, and the potluck will be about an hour.
This is a great activity for all ages, although some kids may be more ready for this than others. We will try to keep the teaching to a minimum, and focus on the experiential creative side as much as possible.
To Register:

Meet Meagan
Through Massage, Yoga, Using the Breath, Meditation, sound and other means of connecting with spirit, Meagan intuitively connects clients with the tools to nurture divine growth and expansion.
In recent years, Meagan has been developing skills and using tools that have allowed her to move through her own growth and transition into being a mother and integrating her new role into her expression as Meagan. Yoga and Massage are two elements that have supported Meagan in her growth and expansion and are core offerings of Temple Tree.
Meagan is currently moving through programs exploring psychic development and the use of the voice as a vibrational healing modality and is already incorporating some of these tools into work with clients.
