Winter Solstice Fire Ceremony: A Unifying Shamanic + Christian Ceremony

  • McFarland Church of Christ 5710 Anthony Street McFarland, WI, 53558 United States (map)

This is from our 2022 Summer Solstice Ceremony, so please disregard any mention of times & dates

THIS CEREMONY WILL BE HOSTED OUTDOORS. In the very rare event that we have to cancel, the only way to know stay in the loop is to mark “going” on Meetup or Facebook, or email me here to RSVP, then check your email or Meetup or Facebook couple hours prior.

We hope you'll join us for this unifying, unique Winter Solstice Fire Ceremony.

Bryan Sirchio, Pastor of McFarland United Church of Christ and I (Jessica Riphenburg of Be The Light) will weave our spiritual views and practices into this healing, uplifting ceremony.

Here’s the playlist for our 7 part series that dives a little deeper into why we wanted to co-create these ceremonies.

Many of you have asked how a Shamanic Practitioner and a Christian pastor have come together to co-create spiritual ceremonies... Great question!

To shed a little light on how this collaboration came to be, we’ve created some videos. If you enjoy them, please give a “like” and comment to tell YouTube to share the videos with others, will ya? Thank you!

BRING:

  • Rattle, shaker, or drum if you have one. A bottle with pebbles, dried beans, etc works well too! I’ll have shakers for you to borrow if you don’t have one of your own.

  • Camping chair

  • Warm layers and/or blanket (it’s not a bad idea to bring more than you think you’ll need)

  • OPTIONAL: Water or thermos of hot water

  • OPTIONAL: Bug repellent in warm season

  • OPTIONAL: a pen and journal

IMPORTANT

To respect the sacred container of this work, please refrain from alcohol & recreational drugs the day of the event. It’s ideal, but not necessary to also refrain from both for 24 hours prior, and 24 hours after as well.

This is a free event, and donations are APPRECIATED. THANK YOU!

There are 2 churches on Anthony Street. Make sure you go to McFarland United Church of Christ.
