WHAT TO EXPECT
Sacred Songstress Araceli Wehr and Musician Pete Calgaro will share their magical Summer Solstice music with us.
Mexican folklore dancer Silvia Lopez will speak briefly about the Summer Solstice through the lens of Mexican folklore culture, and she and the kids will teach us a simple choreography so that we can all help to build the energy while giving thanks to the Sun. (Silvia will also be dancing at the Monona Terrace for the Lakeside Kids Danztrad event on June 27- details HERE.
Reverend Richard Bunch will share an inspirational reading that focuses on the Summer Solstice through the Unity lens. If you’ve not heard Richard speak, you’re in for a treat, as he has a way of bringing joy, humor and relatability to his services.
And of course yours truly, Jessica Riphenburg (Shamanic Practitioner & Founder of Be The Light) will lead us in opening sacred space and guide the ceremony.

If you've got something you'd like to represent your Summer intentions, you'll have an opportunity to place it on the altar. You'll bring your item home after the ceremony.

Afterwards coffee and treats will be served in Unity’s lower level “Namaste Cafe” for those wishing to hang out and connect.

To respect the sacred container of this work, please refrain from alcohol & recreational drugs the day of the event. It is ideal for your shifting energy to also avoid both for 24 hours prior, and 24 hours after as well.
