This offering is extended to members of the Meetup group “A Gathering Of Shamanic Practitioners”. It will be led by a member of the group, and the exact practice for the night is yet to be decided.
This group gathers regularly. It is for those with formal shamanic training who wish to connect with peers. Whether you consider yourself a shaman, a shamanic practitioner, a shamanic healer, or none of the above, this is a place to deepen your shamanic practice with a group of trained, like-minded individuals. This particular event will be lead by a shamanic practitioner/member of this group.
Each gathering focuses on a different self healing technique, and we take turns sharing a technique with the group. We also talk a bit about how to bring our medicine to our own circles, communities and the environment. Some of us work professionally as shamanic practitioners, some offer shamanic or spiritual-based events to their community, and others find clarity and set intentions to weave their wisdom into the non-shamanic work and conversations they already have. There is no specific expectation of what "bringing your medicine to your community" looks like.
This group is open to those that have completed any amount of formal training in shamanism- whether it is with a particular lineage or Core Shamanism. It is for those that wish to start integrating a consistent shamanic practice into their lives, as well as those that already actively practice shamanism.
OUR COMMITMENT TO EACH OTHER
We require each member to attend 90% or more of our scheduled gatherings. This allows us to establish a safe container, and to build relationships and trust so we each feel comfortable diving deeply into the self-healing practices that can feel very personal at times.
Gatherings are scheduled far in advance, and occur bi-weekly. All of 2020's gatherings are scheduled, and you should be able to see the dates, times and content of each. While we don't have anything scheduled the weekend of 10/31 currently, we are discussing options, and a gathering will likely be held that weekend.
