Return to the Wild Woman: A New Moon Rite of Primal Reclamation

  • Wild Life Refuge S3256 Ableman Road Reedsburg, WI, 53959 United States (map)

A sacred two-day initiation in Fire, Water, and elemental ceremony
June 13–14, 2026
Wild Life Refuge, Reedsburg, WI

Something in you knows.

Beneath the conditioning, the performance, the careful maintenance of who you've “needed” to be- there is something older, wilder, and truer. She has been waiting.

Return to the Wild Woman is a two-day ceremonial retreat held under the New Moon, bringing together three gifted facilitators for an immersive journey of elemental healing, sacred ceremony, and embodied reclamation. This is a gathering for women- intimate by design, wild by intention, and held with the utmost care, reverence, and respect for the full sovereignty of each participant.

YOUR FACILITATORS

Jessica Riphenburg- Shamanic Ceremonialist & Practitioner

Jessica leads the shamanic drumming and elemental ceremonies that open and close each day, anchoring the group in sacred space and elemental connection. Drawing from years of training in Core and Peruvian shamanism, she holds the ceremonial container with groundedness, presence, and heart.

Silvia Lopez- Taoist & Tantric Practitioner, Shamanic Healer

Silvia guides the Embodied Feminine Awakening sequence- a divinely curated progression of somatic and energetic practices designed to awaken the feminine current through intuitive movement, breathwork, voice activation, and energetic cultivation.

Tona Williams- Intuitive Visual & Movement Artist, Creator of Wild Life Refuge

Tona leads Body as Altar / Embodiment as Art, a ceremonial ritual of sacred anointing and body art in which the body itself becomes the altar, the brush, and the canvas. Tona is also the visionary and steward of Wild Life Refuge, where this gathering is held.

THE GATHERING

Held at Wild Life Refuge, a private sanctuary for conscious creativity and connection nestled in the hills of Reedsburg, Wisconsin. This retreat is limited to 12 women.

Over two immersive days, we move through the five elements: Earth, Water, Air, Fire, and the deep nurturing Void, using body, breath, movement, voice, art, shamanic drumming, and ceremony to awaken primal creative potential and restore connection with the vital life force that lives within each of us.

There will be vision, play, and wildness. There will be Fire and Water. There will be nudity (always invitational, always within a sacred, non-sexual ceremonial container). There will be raw, messy, joyful creation. There will be the kind of sisterhood that only emerges when women choose to show up fully.

THE SCHEDULE

SATURDAY: Elemental Connection

8:30–10:00am  ·  Arrive & Acclimate

Settle into the sanctuary. Get grounded. Find your footing before we begin.

10:00am  ·  Opening Circle

Through shamanic drumming, invocation, and elemental ritual, we consciously cross the threshold from the ordinary world and enter sacred space. The drum anchors the nervous system and connects us to the heartbeat of Mother Earth. Our circle becomes the container.

[Led by Jessica Riphenburg]

12:00pm  ·  Embodied Awakening

A divinely curated progression of somatic and energetic practices through the lens of Taoism and Tantra. We move through intuitive movement, breathwork, voice activation, sacred breast ritual, jade egg practice, and microcosmic orbit- awakening vitality and circulating feminine life force from the inside out.

[Led by Silvia Lopez]

4:00pm  ·  Body as Altar / Embodiment as Art

Tona anoints each woman with paint, consecrating the body as living altar and creative force. Those who choose enter a sacred nude body art ritual- merging whole bodies with the process of art-making and self-expression. Alternative ceremonial art options are available; all participation is invitational and held within a sacred container of honor and sovereignty.

[Led by Tona Williams]

8:00pm  ·  Dark Moon Fire Ceremony

Under the dark sky, we release. We shed old skins, reclaim our voices, and stand boldly in vitality and sacred authority. Fire becomes witness. Voice becomes declaration.

[Led by Jessica Riphenburg]

SUNDAY: Rebirth & Integration

10:00am  ·  Closing Water Ceremony & Circle

Through Water blessing and shared reflection, we anchor what has been awakened, and carry it forward into our lives.

[Led by Jessica Riphenburg]

We ask that all participants arrive at least 20 minutes before the opening circle to get settled in each day and remain through closing. The dynamic of this group will be uniquely its own, and we want to make the most of every moment together.

All offerings are invitational and held within a sacred, ceremonial, non-sexual container rooted in honor, respect, and the full sovereignty of each participant.
