Full Moon Ceremonial Retreat: Transformation & Joy with Sacred Fire & Mama Cacao

  • Be The Light Shamanic Healing 5720 River Road Waunakee, WI, 53597 United States (map)

Join us for a playful, expansive, connective heart-opening afternoon as we bask in the energy of the full Moon. Together, we’ll gather in a sacred circle to work with the power of Fire and the spirit of Mama Cacao with intention and reverence.

These two wise and generous allies will help us to:

  • Release what no longer serves us.

  • Cleanse our energetic fields.

  • Fill us up with our Soul’s pure radiance, love, fresh energy and possibilities.

  • Help us to step into new ways of being with clarity, love, joy, excitement, and hope.

  • Connect with ourselves and each other deeply from the heart- with lightness, creativity and playfulness.

We’ll Begin With Shamanic Fire Ceremony

Fire is a powerful teacher of transformation, cleansing, and renewal. With guided intention, song, and rhythm, we will ask Fire to please transmute the outdated thoughts, emotions, patterns, and energies we are ready to release, welcoming spaciousness into our lives for our intentions and prayers to take root and expand.

Facilitated by Shamanic Practitioner, Jessica Riphenburg, this ceremony is rooted in the Q’ero lineage of the Peruvian shamans of the Andes Mountains.

This lineage is an open shamanic lineage, meaning anyone in the world that wants to receive its sacred teachings and medicine is welcome- its actually a part of their prophecy, the prophecy of the Pachacuti (I’ve linked some resources about this prophesy here). It was through Jessica's training in this lineage that she received the blessing to share this sacred ceremony.

Connection With Mama Cacao And Each Other

Cacao is known as the “Food of the Gods,” a sacred plant medicine that opens the heart and invites play, creativity, and deep, soulful heart-to-heart connection.

Together, we’ll share a rich ceremonial mug of cacao blended with warming spices, lovingly prepared by Jessica’s friends, Dragon Love and Marcelita, who have sourced this very high quality, wild grown, raw cacao. The couple has been working closely with Mama Cacao for years.

From this heart-centered space, we’ll move into music, singing, laughter, dance and play- allowing joy and inspiring energy of what is possible to ripple through our bodies and into the circle.

About Your Hosts

Jessica Riphenburg is a Shamanic Practitioner at Be The Light Shamanic Healing. She revels in cultivating community through offering shamanic ceremonies, classes, and gatherings.

Jessica has trained in both Core & Peruvian shamanism, and has been walking the shamanic path since 2011. Jessica loves supporting her community and clients through group offerings, classes, retreats & one-on-one shamanic healing sessions.

Jessica met Dragon Love and Marcelita in Big Bear, CA, at the Aniwa Gathering of 2024, where the couple introduced Jessica to the sacred, wild, raw cacao that they source with reverence from Peru, and bring to the US to share.

Jessica quickly became a loyal customer, and had the opportunity to be part of ceremonies facilitated by Dragon Love and Marcelita, where they invite the spirit of Mama Cacao to join. The three have since become good friends.

Land Acknowledgement

As we gather on the ancestral lands of the Ho-Chunk people, we give our deepest gratitude and honor to their ancestors, and to the Ho-Chunk people past, present, and emerging. We promise to do our best to support the good works of Indigenous people today, and generations to come.

Words matter, but actions are vital. I’ve compiled a list of ways we can support local Indigenous people—see the “Land Acknowledgement” page here.
